Perfect Lac panels composed of water-repellent MDF
Perfect Lac panels and doors are also available in the composed version of MDF wood, Medium-density fibreboard. Thanks to its specific constitution, this material is resistant and water repellent, making it particularly suitable in the dampest environments, such as the bathroom and the kitchen.
Water-repellent MDF wood: what is it and how is it made?
MDF panels are a safe choice, because they are resistant and water-repellent, but also environmentally friendly: MDF wood is in fact made of wood fibres from waste or recycled, assembled and compacted with natural resins or adhesives It is therefore a type of wood that helps to fight waste and to respect nature; it is also a valid ally in the safety of our houses.
Perfect Lac’s MDF panels are coated with a special paint that increases their durability and thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as making them completely water-repellent. To the varnish is added a waterproof additive, evenly distributed on the surface of the panel, which ensures its effectiveness even for the furniture installed in places with high humidity.

MDF Water repellent Perfect Lac doors can be installed in particularly humid environments, such as:
- Bathrooms
- Kitchens, whether or not professional
- Gyms
- Environments in contact with the outside
Being water-repellent, they are also resistant to all the disadvantages that a humid environment entails. Therefore, they are immune to:
- Moulds
- Spots of water
- Halos
- Swellings due to water absorption
The special paint used for Perfect Lac panels is also sanitizing: it reduces by 99% the proliferation of bacteria on the panel surface and it creates a barrier effect that lasts over time. It is in fact added by an additive during the painting process that, as demonstrated by the dedicated tests, plays a bactericidal action much more effective than normal detergents.
